    I'm interested in

For young adults, run by young adults

    the ark dc st ann

I started attending the 7pm Mass at St. Ann’s in August 2022, after I moved back to DC. I didn’t start going to the Ark, however, until maybe January or February. I was still looking for the right faith community, and while I had attended some young Catholic events throughout Washington, they weren’t quite what I was looking for.

I was immediately struck by how friendly and welcoming everyone was, and how genuinely glad to worship, talk, and learn together they were. It is truly infectious.

I moved to Washington D.C. to start a graduate degree and knew I was about to face multiple challenges that come with this stage of life and moving to a new city. I also knew that with these increased challenges, I would need more strength and guidance to remain anchored, so I looked for this in my faith. However, I tried to do it by myself.

The ARK young adult community has been a game-changer in growing in my faith, which has spilled over into other areas of my life, while giving me an incredible group of people that push me to be better. I can truly say that the ARK community has been a catalyzer of a stronger relationship with God, myself and others.
